Usually I bake Dorie's recipes as written. However, it is PEACH season and for two or three weeks, I intend to gorge myself on peaches. Instead of a "tropical" crumble, I made a summertime crumble, with fresh peaches instead of mangoes.
Yummy! But as others found, I think there is too much butter in the crumble. Probably could cut it in half.

ReplyDeleteThis would be great with peaches. My crumble looks like yours so I put it in a dish so it looked better. I subbed pineapple for the bananas.
ReplyDeleteI was just gifted a big bowl of fresh peaches--they smell heavenly. I could make this with peaches. Looks good.

ReplyDeleteWhen I get back from being away, I am always ready to bake, too. Good call using peaches - mangoes can be had any time of year, but great peaches are fleeting!
